Terms of Use

📅Last updated April 9, 2026Effective upon use of TrustableClaw Services

Welcome to TrustableClaw. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TrustableClaw software, websites, applications, APIs, public verification pages, downloadable components, documentation, and related services (collectively, the "Services") provided by TrustableClaw.com ("TrustableClaw," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1

The Short Version

TrustableClaw helps you run AI agents with governance, logging, verification, and reproducibility features. You are responsible for how you use it, what instructions you give your agents, what tools or skills you enable, and for complying with applicable laws and third-party terms. The Services are provided subject to these Terms and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, are provided "as is" and "as available."

2

Eligibility

You may use the Services only if:

  • you are legally able to enter into a binding contract;
  • you will comply with these Terms and applicable law; and
  • if you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

If you are using the Services on behalf of an entity, "you" means both you and that entity.

3

The Services

TrustableClaw provides software and related functionality for operating, supervising, auditing, governing, replaying, verifying, or otherwise managing AI-assisted workflows and agent activity.

The Services may include, depending on the version or plan:

  • desktop software;
  • local runtime services;
  • governance and approval workflows;
  • audit logs, receipts, replay, and verification features;
  • skills, extensions, plugins, connectors, or integrations;
  • public or shareable verification pages or exports;
  • documentation, website content, and support materials.

Some features may require internet access, third-party accounts, third-party APIs, or paid plans.

Certain features, including public receipt and verification features, may involve hosted infrastructure operated by TrustableClaw or its service providers.

4

License and Ownership

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, TrustableClaw grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the Services for your internal personal or business use.

TrustableClaw is proprietary software. Except for the limited license above, we retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Services, including all software, code, interfaces, designs, branding, documentation, technology, and related intellectual property.

Except as expressly permitted by these Terms or by our prior written consent, you may not:

  • copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, resell, lease, license, sublicense, assign, transfer, publish, or otherwise make the Services available to any third party;
  • modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Services;
  • use the Services to build, train, improve, or support any competing product or service;
  • remove, alter, obscure, or bypass any copyright, trademark, patent, confidentiality, or other proprietary notices or technical restrictions in the Services;
  • access or use the Services in a way intended to avoid fees, usage limits, license limits, or technical enforcement mechanisms; or
  • use the Services except as expressly authorized in these Terms.

Except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law, you may not, and may not permit any third party to, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decode, attempt to derive source code from, or otherwise attempt to discover or access the source code, underlying structure, ideas, algorithms, trade secrets, or non-public components of the Services, or bypass or circumvent any technical protection, security control, or license control in the Services.

No rights are granted to you by implication, estoppel, or otherwise except as expressly set forth in these Terms.

The Services and related technology are protected by applicable intellectual property laws and may be covered by one or more patents or pending patent applications.

5

Accounts, Activation, and Security

You may need an account, license key, activation method, or third-party credentials to use some parts of the Services.

You are responsible for:

  • maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, tokens, API keys, certificates, and local secrets;
  • restricting unauthorized access to your devices, systems, and accounts;
  • all activities that occur under your account or environment; and
  • promptly notifying us of any suspected unauthorized use or security issue.
6

Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for your use of the Services and for all outputs, actions, workflows, messages, automations, tool invocations, integrations, and decisions made by or through your AI agents.

You agree that you will:

  • use the Services only in compliance with applicable law, regulation, and third-party rules;
  • evaluate outputs before relying on them in sensitive, legal, medical, financial, employment, safety-critical, or high-impact contexts;
  • ensure that you have the necessary rights and permissions for the data, content, accounts, systems, and services you connect;
  • configure guardrails, approvals, monitoring, and access controls appropriate to your use case;
  • keep backups and maintain your own operational safeguards where appropriate; and
  • remain responsible for the acts of any human users, administrators, contractors, or agents using the Services under your account or control.
7

Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Services to:

  • violate any law, regulation, court order, sanctions regime, or third-party rights;
  • harass, abuse, threaten, stalk, defame, deceive, or harm others;
  • send spam or unauthorized messages;
  • perform unauthorized surveillance, credential theft, phishing, malware delivery, or system intrusion;
  • access, control, or extract data from any system without authorization;
  • infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights;
  • process personal data unlawfully or without required notices, permissions, or safeguards;
  • generate or distribute unlawful content;
  • interfere with, disrupt, or degrade the Services or other users' use of the Services;
  • attempt to access source code, internal logic, non-public APIs, license controls, cryptographic materials, or protected technical measures except as expressly authorized by TrustableClaw or permitted by applicable law;
  • bypass product restrictions, safety features, approvals, metering, or license enforcement; or
  • use the Services in any way that could create unreasonable risk of personal injury, property damage, or legal harm without appropriate human review and controls.
8

AI Providers, Third-Party Services, and External Costs

TrustableClaw may interoperate with third-party model providers, cloud vendors, messaging platforms, browsers, operating systems, payment processors, app stores, or other external services.

Those third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies, not ours. We are not responsible for third-party services, their uptime, pricing, outputs, actions, security, or changes.

You are solely responsible for:

  • fees charged by model providers or other third parties;
  • your compliance with their terms and acceptable use policies;
  • securing any required accounts, approvals, and permissions; and
  • monitoring usage to avoid unexpected charges or overages.
9

Skills, Extensions, and Integrations

The Services may allow you to install, enable, or use third-party or user-created skills, plugins, connectors, scripts, or integrations.

TrustableClaw does not guarantee that any third-party or community component is safe, secure, accurate, lawful, compatible, or fit for your purpose. You use them at your own risk.

You are responsible for reviewing and approving any such component before use, including its permissions, behavior, and data access.

We may restrict, disable, or remove access to integrations or components at any time.

10

User Content and Data

You may provide prompts, files, documents, credentials, configurations, policies, logs, metadata, receipts, exports, notes, messages, or other content ("User Content") through the Services.

You retain your rights in your User Content, subject to the rights you grant below.

TrustableClaw is designed so that core desktop functionality may operate locally on your device. Except as necessary to provide features you choose to use, we do not claim ownership of your User Content.

You grant TrustableClaw a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to process, transmit, store, copy, display, and use User Content only as reasonably necessary to:

  • operate, secure, maintain, and provide the Services and requested features;
  • provide optional hosted or public-sharing features that you choose to enable;
  • comply with law; and
  • enforce these Terms.

If you choose to publish, share, sync, back up, verify, or otherwise transmit content through any hosted or public-facing TrustableClaw feature, including public receipt or verification features, you authorize us to host, process, store, and display the related content and metadata as necessary to provide that feature.

You represent and warrant that:

  • you have all rights, permissions, and lawful bases necessary to provide and use the User Content;
  • your User Content and use of the Services do not infringe or violate any person's rights or any law; and
  • you are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of your User Content.
11

Logs, Audit Trails, Verification, and Receipts

TrustableClaw may generate logs, receipts, signatures, hashes, proofs, timestamps, replay artifacts, verification pages, or other audit-related outputs.

These features are intended to assist with traceability, reproducibility, governance, and review. They do not constitute legal advice, regulatory certification, guaranteed evidentiary admissibility, or a guarantee that any workflow, decision, or output is correct, lawful, enforceable, or accepted by any court, regulator, platform, customer, or third party.

You are responsible for reviewing whether any audit or verification artifact is suitable for your intended use.

12

Public Sharing and Published Verification Pages

If the Services allow you to publish, share, export, or make available receipts, verification pages, logs, or other artifacts, including through TrustableClaw-hosted public receipt or verification features, you are solely responsible for what you choose to publish.

By using those features, you authorize TrustableClaw to host, process, store, and display the content, metadata, and related artifacts necessary to provide the published or shared feature.

You must not publish content that:

  • violates law or third-party rights;
  • includes confidential, personal, regulated, or restricted data without authorization; or
  • creates a misleading impression about TrustableClaw, any agent, or any proof or verification result.

We may remove, disable, or refuse to host or display published content at our discretion.

13

Privacy

Our collection and handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you acknowledge that your information may be processed as described there.

Because TrustableClaw includes local-first desktop functionality, some content and processing may remain on your device unless you choose to use a hosted, synced, public, or third-party-connected feature.

You are responsible for providing any notices and obtaining any consents required for your use of the Services and any personal data you submit, process, publish, or transmit through them.

14

Feedback

If you provide suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable, transferable, royalty-free license to use, modify, distribute, and incorporate that feedback without restriction or compensation.

16

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to some or all of the Services at any time, with or without notice, if:

  • you violate these Terms;
  • your use creates security, legal, or operational risk;
  • we are required to do so by law or a third-party provider;
  • fees remain unpaid; or
  • we discontinue the relevant Service.

You may stop using the Services at any time.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends immediately, but provisions that by their nature should survive will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, dispute provisions, and any accrued payment obligations.

17

Updates and Changes to the Services

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. Features may change, including integrations, pricing, security controls, or compatibility.

We are not obligated to continue supporting any particular feature, version, integration, or device.

18

No Warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." TrustableClaw disclaims all warranties, express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, quiet enjoyment, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, complete, compatible with your systems, or that any defect will be corrected. We do not warrant that outputs, logs, receipts, governance decisions, or verification artifacts will meet your requirements or be accepted by any third party.

19

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrustableClaw and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, or opportunity, arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services will not exceed the greater of:

  • the amount you paid to TrustableClaw for the Services giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the event giving rise to liability; or
  • one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you to the extent prohibited by law.

20

Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TrustableClaw and its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to:

  • your use or misuse of the Services;
  • your User Content;
  • your violation of these Terms;
  • your violation of any law or third-party right; or
  • any action taken by an AI agent, automation, user, or integration operating under your account, instructions, policies, systems, or control.
21

Export, Sanctions, and Compliance

You may not use, export, re-export, release, or transfer the Services or any related software or technical data in violation of applicable export control, sanctions, or trade laws.

You represent that you are not located in, organized under the laws of, or ordinarily resident in any restricted jurisdiction where use would be prohibited, and that you are not on any government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

22

App Store and Third-Party Platform Terms

If you download or use TrustableClaw through a third-party platform, marketplace, or app store, your use may also be subject to that platform's terms. Those third parties are not responsible for providing maintenance or support for TrustableClaw unless they expressly agree otherwise.

23

Dispute Resolution; Binding Arbitration for U.S. Users

If you are an individual residing in the United States, you and TrustableClaw agree to first try to resolve any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services informally by providing written notice to the other party and allowing sixty (60) days for the parties to attempt resolution. To begin the informal dispute resolution process, written notice must be sent to support@trustableclaw.com, unless we designate a different legal notice address on our website.

If the dispute is not resolved within that period, the dispute shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its applicable Consumer Arbitration Rules and Mediation Procedures. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this arbitration provision.

You and TrustableClaw agree that any arbitration will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as a class, collective, consolidated, representative, or private attorney general action. The arbitrator may award relief only in favor of the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to resolve that party's individual claim.

This arbitration provision does not prevent either party from:

  • bringing an individual action in small claims court if the claim qualifies; or
  • seeking temporary, preliminary, or injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for claims involving unauthorized access, misuse of the Services, infringement or misappropriation of intellectual property, breach of confidentiality, or other circumstances in which immediate equitable relief may be appropriate.

If you are not subject to the arbitration provision above, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict of laws principles, and any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Alabama, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

If any part of this Section 23 is found unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect, except that if the prohibition on class, collective, consolidated, representative, or private attorney general proceedings is found unenforceable for a particular claim or request for relief, then that claim or request for relief shall proceed in a court of competent jurisdiction and not in arbitration.

24

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice by updating the date above, posting notice on our website, through the Services, or by other reasonable means.

Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

25

General

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and TrustableClaw regarding the Services and supersede any prior agreements on that subject.

If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver.

You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
